DSAM held it’s 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Petaling Jaya on 23rd May 2013. The meeting, chaired by the President Frederick Ng, saw a 75% turnout by our member companies. Treasurer Khor Lee Fan, presented the Accounts for the year 2012, plus the Estimates and Expenditure for 2013. This was followed by the election of the Auditor for the ensuing year. The meeting proceeded with the presentation of the Association’s affairs by Honorary Secretary Tan Chong Guan.
Being an election year, there were no contest for the positions of President, Vice President, Honorary Secretary and Treasurer but there were six nominations for the remaining five Board positions. Following the adjournment of the AGM, the 2nd CEO’s meeting was held. An update on the 35th Anniversary Convention and Gala Dinner were presented by the Organising Chairman Najmie Noordin. Besides that, other industry matters were also discussed.
