The AGM 2012 was held on 24th May 2012. The President, Mr Frederick Ng conducted the meeting where the presentation of Accounts 2011 and Estimates of Revenue & Expenditure 2012 by Treasurer, Mr Khong Che Lam was presented and accepted. The Honorary Secretary, Mr Tan Chong Guan also presented the Affairs of the Association. The AGM adjourned at 10.35 am
The first CEO Meeting for 2012 began at 11 am with the welcoming of new member companies. Members were then updated on the latest developments in the industry by ED, Mr Lawrence Cheah and Honorary Secretary, Mr Tan Chong Guan. Certificates of Recognition to 21 member companies for successfully completing the implementation of the Code of Ethics Recognition Program were also given out by the President. Invited guest, Kumpulan Media Karangkraf later presented the many opportunities available for members to expand and reach out to the Malay speaking market. The meeting ended with a presentation of a token to our Treasurer, Mr Khong Che Lam, for his 20 years of service in the DSAM Board.
The CEO Meeting adjourned at 12.45 pm and members proceeded for lunch together with our special guest, Y. Bhg. Datuk Saripuddin Kasim, Secretary-General and En Mohd
Nasir Noryakin, Senior Director of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism.
