DSAM attended the dialogue with YB Dato’ Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs and trade associations representing various industries on March 14, 2019. The main objectives were to provide insights to the policies implemented by the Ministry plus seeking industry feedback on current issues.
On the issue of unauthorised sale of Direct Selling products on e-commerce platforms, MDTCA has replied during the pre-dialogue Q&A session that, a new set of Regulations is being drafted to address the matter. Enforcement is expected in the very near future.
