The Direct Selling Unit of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (MDTCC) paid a courtesy visit to DSAM on 18th June 2013. The purpose of the visit was to enhance cooperation between the ministry and the industry. Among those present from MDTCC were Tn Haji Mokhtar Yeop, (Senior Principle Assistant Director, Enforcement), Siti Maslinda Mardi (Principal Assistant Director and Head of Direct Selling Unit), Azlan Ali, (Assistant Director), Ridzuan Kamis (Assistant Director, Enforcement), Azanizam Affendi (Assistant Director, Enforcement) and Kala Devi Kailasam (Unit Head, Enforcement). DSAM was represented by Frederick Ng (President) and Tan Chong Guan (Honorary Secretary). A token of appreciation was later presented to the Direct Selling Unit.
DSAM then accompanied the officers to visit one of it’s Members for a first-hand look at the full operations of a direct selling company. CNI Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd was selected for this visit.
