The Direct Selling Association of Singapore (DSAS) hosted the 3rd Meeting chaired by their President, Leo Boon Wang. The meeting was attended by representatives from Indonesia (APLI), Thailand (TDSA), Philippines (DSAP), Singapore (DSAS) and DSAM (represented by Frederick Ng, Sam Cheong and Lawrence Cheah).
The meeting concluded with three proposed resolutions;
1 The drafting of a MOU as part of the steps towards the formalization of the grouping.
2 The setting up of a Business Advisory Subcommittee in every ASEAN DSA with the prime objective of facilitating respective Member Companies when expanding to other ASEAN countries.
3 To look into Consumer Protection initiatives for the benefit of the Direct Selling industry.
The next meeting will be held in Kuala Lumpur in November 2014.
