WFDSA Asia Pacific Performance Program (APP), New Zealand – 19 & 20 Feb 2014

The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) Asia Pacific Performance Program (APP) for 2014 was held in Auckland, New Zealand on 19th and 20th February 2014. The purpose of this program was to foster closer working relationships between regional Direct Selling Associations (DSAs) plus to update best practices and regulatory changes in respective countries. The program was attended by eight DSAs.

Among the many highlights of the program was the presentation of the joint Socio-economic Study recently completed by the DSAs of New Zealand and Australia. Details will be published in the WFDSA website soon.

A visit was also organised to view the operations of New Zealand Direct Selling companies. Visits were to New Image International Ltd and Home Direct Ltd (both New Zealand homegrown) plus Amway of New Zealand.

Home Direct, a New Zealand home delivery and On-line purchase DIrect Selling company since 1973. It currently has more than 2,000 products, many of which are popular brands plus their own house-brand.
