DSAM paid a visit to His Excellency (HE) Sok Sopheak, Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Commerce, Cambodia and had a great exchange of information on Direct Selling namely on the factual differences between Direct Selling and illegal schemes. HE Sopheak is receptive to the idea of DSAM Members expanding into Cambodia and welcome the suggestion of a one-day workshop on the general understanding of Direct Selling to be conducted by DSAM for senior officers of the Cambodian government. In addition, DSAM has offered assistance in setting up a Direct Selling Association for Cambodia.
